Unable to update non-Google documents
The Sparrow add-on is used to insert and refresh data inside Google Documents. This includes Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
If you open a non-Google document inside a Google Editor (e.g a PPTX file in Google Slides, or an XLSX spreadsheet in Sheets), you will still be able to open the Sparrow add-on and view all your data, but you will not be able to insert new data from the Sparrow add-on.
This is a limitation set in place by the Google add-on team, and is not something we'reFew readersContent can't be loaded
The Issue:
When trying to use Sparrow inside Google Slides, the add-on will continue to load, until eventually a "Content can't be loaded" error message is shown.
Solution:
Unfortunately, this is due to an issue with Google's add-on platform, and impacts all Google Slides add-ons that leverage the same Workspaces interface as Sparrow.

Google Workspace add-ons work a little differently compared to Google Chrome Extensions, and Google Editor add-ons, so if this is your first workspace add-on, it might not be clear where to find Sparrow after it's been installed.
