Sometimes your report will fail to generate. While we try to cover as many edge cases as possible, some might still happen that cause the report generation process to fail.

Lost access to the data source
Problem: Sometimes, we lose access to your data source due to expired tokens or revoked permissions. If you try creating a report with one of these sources, it's likely the report will fail.

To connect your Instagram account to Sparrow, you need to first connect your Instagram account to a Facebook Business Page.
Why you must do this:
Facebook has started phasing out direct "log in with Instagram" experiences. Unfortunately, this means you have to connect your Instagram account to a Facebook page to allow third-party tools (like us) to have access to all the important data you want to see.

Demographic data represents the number of people who saw any of your posts at least once, grouped by age and gender. Aggregated demographic data is based on a number of factors, including age and gender information users provide in their Facebook profiles. This number is an estimate.
Generally, you need to have data for 100 or more people before the metrics become available to you as the page owner or Sparrow as a third-party software provider.

In Sparrow, you can add multiple users to your account if you're on a Teams plan or have a custom plan that allows you to have access to our multi-user feature.
This feature is useful if you want to add your teammates to Sparrow, or want to invite a client to view their data/reports in a dedicated Sparrow workspace.
How to add a user
To add a new user to your Sparrow business profile, you will first need to navigate to the Teams tab in the Settings page:

Sparrow lost access: If you aren't seeing any data at all, it's possible that Sparrow lost access to your connected account completely. If you aren't able to see any data, you should click the "reconnect" button on the data source page.
